OUR PEOPLE
Mark Clemmensen's personal goal is to work with firms as a team player, where the building industry is in demand of educated and detailed personnel. During Mark's 15+ years of experience, mainly in specification writing, he has been fortunate to work on projects within the retail, commercial, healthcare, institutional, and residential construction sectors.
Mark has been a member in good standing of Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) throughout his career.
Mark became a Registered Specification Writer (RSW) in 2011, and a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) in 2007. Since receiving his LEED AP designation, he has completed well over 100 sustainable design projects and continues to maintain a sustainable philosophy when product evaluating and maintaining his Master Specification.
From a young age of five, Mark had an enthusiasm for construction and design, modeling houses and structures out of Lego. He graduated from Ryerson University's Bachelor of Architectural Science program in 2005, specializing in Building Science, where his passion to construction detailing became evident. Mark believes that a successfully executed project is built on a strong foundation of construction documentation, and therefore through TechSpecs Consulting Inc., is able to provide specifications to firms in need of assistance.
